As a native Floridian, I have raised my family largely in the Brandon/Valrico area and WOW has this area grown and changed. I have watched as our many orange groves and cow pastures were transformed into bustling suburban neighborhoods and with that growth brought us upper-level restaurants, shopping plazas and all of the modern conveniences we could ever want! Brandon/Valrico/Fishhawk has some of the best schools and amazing properties for buyers and sellers of all levels. And I have often been in awe to see how this area continues to change and adapt for the better.

I spent the bulk of my career working in finance and moving all over the country. In 20 years, I had bought, sold, and moved 9 different times in following my husband's career. Each move presented unique challenges. Each state operates a bit differently and each new house presents a bit of a different interior design challenge. However, with each move I learned valuable lessons on how to acquire the best house for the money and then how to sell it for a profit. I learned the best ways to move your family from one end of the country to the other, as cost effectively as possible, but also as quickly as possible. I learned how to navigate the closing process and how to make that work with my moving timeline. But most importantly, I learned how to help my family adjust to new places, how to set up a routine and make each new place our new "home".

Upon moving back to Tampa in 2010, I decided to invest in one of my passions, children! I became a Guardian-Ad-Litem with the 13th district in Hillsborough County and began volunteering to improve the lives of foster children in our community. I've sat on countless cases as an advocate for children in care and this continues to be a strong passion of mine. I have always had a heart for the people.

Given my history of successfully buying and selling my own personal properties, working in finance, and volunteering in community initiatives, moving into the world of Real Estate seemed a natural fit. My passion is to help people and Real Estate allows me that opportunity!
